"a wonder of a place"
CONDE NAST TRAVELLER
Nestled within the fold of green hills, Anopura is a hidden, and thankfully, forgotten corner of the world.
This is a land of timeless villages, childhood dreams and nature in its purest form. Our’s is a vision of simple, quiet luxuries, nurtured to the rhythm of the countryside, Anopura is your secret hideaway. This luxurious retreat is the quiet Arcadia we call home. This is your home.
A petite collection of cottages and courtyards, of private pools and thoughtful butlers: here lies the charm of Anopura, where every need is so perfectly anticipated. Here hours fade into days and lives lived in traffic and deadlines seem to slip into golden oblivion.
Anopura is designed to ensure beautiful and entirely private indoor and out door spaces for all of our guests.
Our four indevidial suites; two in the main villa and two separate cottages are focused towards the large pool and Tabari, our outdoor living room built in the local thatched style. In addition each room has its own outdoor terrace with views across the Gardens. Guests also have access to the library, sitting room/movie room and indoor dining room.
The Pravas private villa is entirely separate. It sits within its own mature gardens with a stunning square swimming pool and Tabari (outdoor living room). The Villa has two en-suite bedrooms, private courtyard its own indoor sitting room.
EATING AND DRINKING
The food at Anopura has a reputation all of its own...
The menu at Anopura has been meticulously put together. Miraculously, our head chef grew up in Anopura Village itself. After many years working in Jaipur City, Chef Chotu returned home seven years ago. Here his impeccable Indian repertoire has been transformed into something quite unique; harnessing the bounty from our organic vegetable garden with classical continental inspiration from Mr Philippe's Belgian heritage.
For breakfast guests may chose from traditional indian fare or a wholesome european breakfast of muesli, freshly grown fruits and juices, breads, tea and of course great coffee!
For lunch and dinner, expect mouthwatering traditional curries and local dishes all prepared with local ingredients, or chose from an extensive european menu from Anopura's signature fluffy souffles to delicious home grown salads.
